Introduction

It is often said that seeing is believing? However, it is not doable all the time; the eyes of an individual will deceive him or her occasionally. Thus, if seeing is the act in which an individual identifies with the eyes, and then what is it known as when one distinguishes something not seen by the naked eye? There are phases in routine life that the naked eye does not see such as the approach we take a look at nature to be considered as a garden, as a showground of liberty or a view framed window (Dyer, 1986). Thus, here it would be debated that what we see through our eyes makes us consider it is the actual truth however what our eyes do not see is the actual truth and the denotation to the illustration.

In his essay “The White Bird”, John Berger talks with reference to principles of life and the development of one tradition to the development of a number of other traditions. Denoting that one tradition or custom of the “white bird” was the foundation of the number of other traditions or customs that would indicate several aspects of the white bird's connotation. Aesthetic is a characteristic or trait that Berger portrays in his writing. It denotes and signifies the division of philosophy managing such notions as the ugly, the beautiful, the comic, the sublime etc., as appropriate to the fine arts, with a vision to establish the validity and meaning of critical judgments regarding the art works, and the principles justifying or underlying such judgments or in other words, it denotes the study of the emotions and mind in relation to the sense of loveliness and beauty (Berger, 1985). The entire essay of John Berger provides an interesting discussion on this aesthetic that how the white bird made by hand is such a fine looking totem when it is just hanged in one's home. The dove or the white bird is assumed to bring divinity, peace, unity and protection.
