An effective policy is, therefore, central to the process of setting, monitoring and raising service standards. The Factors That Supports Positive Behaviour

There are many different Legislations, frameworks, practice code and policies in accordance with positive behaviour support which are applied on one's own working practice. A policy defined as a set of general statements that help individuals (e.g. members of support workers working and directly associated with the service users) to make sound judgements and take appropriate actions (Lucyshyn & Albin, 2002). In broad terms, sound decisions and appropriate actions are those that are legal, consistent with the aims and values of the organisation and in the best interests of the people they serve. An effective policy is, therefore, central to the process of setting, monitoring and raising service standards. Policies which cover this in the workplace will include anti-discriminatory practice, equal opportunities, inclusively, equality and diversity, human rights, employee and employer rights and responsibilities, recording and storing of information, confidentiality, multi-agency and integrated working, early identification and support, child-centred or young-person centred approach to planning, evaluation, review and service provisions for people using our service. These policies have applied in my working practice by: making sure that users are provided with a lavish environment regardless of abuse and exploitation, equality, dignity and respect is given to all the people associated with us, the concerned people are treated fairly on every level, users are not discriminated or harassed but judged on their performance level; bullying is strictly prohibited to promoted in order to promote a healthy and safe environment. The interaction between the individuals and my support workers results in building confidence of the individuals and they are more attentive towards learning.

A policy termed on individual participation and contribution basis is brought into existence. The policy will reflect that we respect the work and contribution done by individuals.

The participation policy will entail that we promote and focus individual's career and their work so that the positive behaviour is more promoted.

The participation policy will also research on the individual strategies developed to deal with critical behaviour exhibited by the individuals.

The support workers are trained in such a way that they are able to identify the negative behaviour exhibited in forms of discrimination, abuse, bullying, neglect ion and harm. Such a situation should be looked after by trained support workers effectively.

Appreciation is given to individuals to take responsibility for their own behaviour.

Enabling a protective environment in accordance with the legislation and doing assessments of risk on daily routine.
