At the beginning, it is necessary to know and understand what does the word Islam means. Islam is not named after any person like Christianity is the name after Jesus Christ; it is Allah's true religion. The word Islam represents the fundamental principle of Allah's religion itself, i.e., surrendering ones will to one true God, worthy of worship. The word Islam also means peace which is eventually the outcome of surrendering to Allah's will. Since the day Adam and Eve landed on earth, Allah asked them to preach Islam and they obeyed Him. Thus, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was not the person laid the foundation of Islam rather it was re-expressed in its final form and revealed to through the Holy Quran to him. People who follow the religion of Islam are called Muslims.
Islam is the religion which was given to every Prophet, who was sent down to teach the mankind, by Allah; from Adam to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Nobody has ever made any alteration in its content; even the name itself was given by Almighty Allah Himself. Everything which comes under the circle of Islam is there in writing, in the scripture of the Divine revelation; The Holy Qur'an. The Finality of Prophet-hood and the completion of the religion Islam on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) can be proved with the verses of the sacred book, as Allah states in the Holy Qur'an that:
"This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion” [Surah Al-Maida (5), Verse: 3].
Another proof about Islam being the only true religion is clear from the following verse:
“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah (God) never will It be accepted of Him” [Surah A'al e Imran (2), Verse: 85]

The Message of Islam
The basic essence of Islam is to worship one and only Almighty Allah, as He is the creator of everything in this world, and for anyone who worships someone else rather than Allah is calling upon for his wrath and that he would be dwelling in hell in the afterlife. Allah ensures everyone that his/her prayers would be answered, be it sooner or later, but, He will surely answer them. As Allah states in the Holy Qur'an:
And your Lord says:"Call on Me and I will answer your (prayer)” [Surah Mu'min, Verse: 60].
It is noteworthy that Allah and His creations are distinct from each other, and that they are are not a part of Him. Anyone who has understood the true essence of Islam's message, under any condition, will never agree to ...
