Background of the Research Study

The topic of the research study is the life world of the disaffected girls in the secondary education that is comparatively a new topic for the researchers. The disaffection is an important perspective that needs to be discussed thoroughly in order to rectify the problems being faced by the students in their teenage. The disaffected person is mainly an individual that does not follow the regular norms and values of the society, he is been living in. The disaffection has been described by researchers in different manner as they have described the personality of individuals and elaborated the factors that affect each of them for being disaffected. The main reason that has been highlighted by the researchers in the past of being disaffected is discrimination in different circle of individuals. The individuals suffering from the direct practice of discrimination in their schools are mainly the victims of the disaffection.

The research study has focused on the disaffected girls as it is considered to be an increasing factor in the present society. The girls getting education in the secondary schools are the direct victim of such factors that include the discriminatory practice by the teachers and other class mates. The negligence is another important factor that affects the secondary school girls in their educational life. These problems are usually faced by the girls from the African countries that have dark complexion. Moreover, not only the girls but boys are also direct victim of such practice in the secondary schools where their class mates make fun of them for being African or any other weakness.

Aims of the Research Study

The aim of the research study is to analyse different aspects of disaffection among the girl getting education in the secondary schools. The disaffection is a phenomenon that mainly arises due to the ignoring behaviour towards an individual. This ignorance can be due to different reasons. These reasons can vary to greater extent.
