In this paper, we will discuss Marbury v. Madison (1803) case, which is a very popular case in supreme court history. In 1801, President Adams appointed Marshall (who was also Secretary of State) President of the Supreme Court to keep some power to the defeat. Along with this designation, he appointed 42 justices of the peace (Marbury and others).
