Web Content Management Systems (CMS) are software used to get a website up and running fast and with minimal effort. After that CMS website software provides ability to easily change content. Usually a database stores content from where it is fetched by CMS when needed. (Andersen, 2002, pp601-609) For example a web store needs to show pictures and prices of sales items. Blogging CMS system creates blogs and stores blogs. Newspaper or magazine publishers have new articles in store to be published in certain dates. Not all content management systems are freeware. There are also CMS systems with licensing fees. Fees may also provide services to users like help in installation and problem solving. CMS market is wide using many different technologies and techniques. ASP.NET (Microsoft technology) is an example of other web technology used also for CMS systems, which may or may not have similar features like open source systems.

CMS is an important innovation that will be used more and more often in the years to come. According to the surveys, Content Management market is huge and it is growing day by day. This market will further grow from $3.5 billion in 2001 to $7 billion by 2006, says Ovum, a U.K.-based consultancy.

Programming Language Proposed
