This is the reason why organizations pay a strong emphasis on adopting different ways which can be helpful in the improvement of learning in organizations. Thus, this paper emphasizes on the e-learning and its benefits and challenges along with its implementation in organization.

Question 1:

a)What is e-learning and how can it be used to meet the learning needs of an organization? You must give examples.

The English term e-learning, is a system of learning through electronic media management, based on the use of computers, electronic devices, among others, where through these, you are provided educational material to students for learning. The e-Learning solves some difficulties in terms of timing, synchronization of agendas, attendance and travel, typical problems of traditional education. By definition, the e-Learning is the delivery of educational programs and learning systems through electronic media (Allan, 2002, p. 12).

In a highly competitive environment we live in today, corporations are beginning to consider online learning as a key to their success. There are many providers of e-learning solutions in the market, some new, some not, some are even disappearing. "When selecting one of these providers, it is important to consider certain key points, such as: if you have good and stable technology, whether it is a company that understands the learning processes in addition to technology, which is this company's commitment to the region in which it operates, if you have a business model with respect to the region and if they remain in the market, if the company can reduce the cost of content production per user for projects more scalable virtual education, and, finally, if they are really managing knowledge. The use of e-learning in companies is mainly used by the big companies for employee training. During the end of 2003 97% of large companies were involved in the development of e-learning programs that will replace traditional courses and seminars extensively, there are relatively very few small and medium-sized enterprises (SME's) to follow this trend. A reason for this is undoubtedly the high time and financial burdens in the Startpharse and the SME's often on a very high financial cost in the use of e-learning. E-learning courses compared to traditional courses are only cost effective if the license cost of the software can be distributed to many employees (Hodges, 2004, p. 8).

For example, Wal-Mart has been successfully implemented the e-learning system in its organization which has been helpful for the organization in the proper development of the employees of the organization which has been helpful in improving the effective performance of organizational members.
