Median: "Middle worth" of a list. The smallest number such that at smallest half the numbers in the register are no larger than it. Mode: For lists, the mode is the most widespread (frequent) value. Alist can have more than one mode. For histograms, a mode is a relation greatest ("bump"). Afacts and figures set has no mode when all the figures appear in the data with the identical frequency. Afacts and figures set has multiple modes when two or more values emerge with the identical frequency.

Occasionally in Statistics you'll be inquired for the variety' in a set of numbers. The range is easily the the smallest number subtracted from the largest number in your set. Thus, if your set is 9, 3, 44, 15, 6 - The variety would be 44-3=41. Your range is 41.
