Introduction

We are required to analyze the given data and also have to interpret the results of central tendency and t-tests. The data contains the summary of 20 students of a class having pro-social behavior of (sharing, sitting quietly and playing) and aggressive behavior of (hitting, shouting and biting). The higher the score the more behavior observed. The data is as follows:

Prosocial Behavior

Prosocial Behavior according to (Eisenberg and Mussen 1989), “volunteer actions so as to intend to guide or benefit other individuals or group of individuals”. Students having prosocial behavior are a good sign for any class and it is also found that such students are good in studies as well. The reason is certainly logical as helping and caring students have more things to analyze which get from others during helping (Batson & Daniel,1998).

Aggressive behavior

According to (Saunders, 2007), “Aggressive behavior leads to self-assertion; it can arise from natural drives or continuous frustration, and can be manifested by attacking and destructive behavior, by obstructionism and hostility, or by self-expressive journey towards mastery. Students having aggressive behavior are found to be dual characterized. Some times their aggressive behavior helps them to compete with others and sometimes it found to be disastrous.

Mean Results for Aggressive and Prosocial behavior students

The mean results for aggressive and prosocial behavior students is under and the values are ranked somewhere which we do not know but higher the value means more of that behavior is noted.

The females are found to be ethical and prosaically behaved as compared with the males. The ranging of numbers for males is 9-30 which shows that there are few males which have less ethical values e.g. 9, 10, 12 and 17 and the prosocial behavior of girls is starting from 18 and ranging till 31. But, the aggressive behavior in both males and females are almost same because girls have a mean aggressive behavior of 43.40 and males have that of 41.20, concluding that males and females are almost equally aggressive.
