Normal Probability Distribution (NPD)

The discrete probability distribution is useful and easier than the continuous distributions, but continuous distribution is essential when the data values are not whole numbers. One of the examples of such data is IQ score. Every candidate gets a score from infinite possible outcomes on a measuring scale. The total possible outcomes can be counted or listed so that the discrete distribution can be used (Harshbarger & Reylonds, 2012).
