Introduction

Perspective of the dynamic of followership in relation to leadership

In the book by Malphurs, “Being Leaders” it shows that the leadership can't take place without have supporters or followers since there is only a single feature which is very common in all the leaders that's is followers and the key definition a leader has an individual who has a number of followers, where leadership is the relation among the leader and the followers. They are the most critical element of any event of leadership. But if the followers are not following, it really is not the issue on how competent or gifted a leader is. Also that there should be quality in the followers, for example if an organization can only be good if the people in it are good.

Importance of Spiritual Mentoring

It has been observed in our daily lives that as we face many tragedies are due to because we are missing father figures because they are the mentors and serve and live while creating a pattern for the young generation that need guidance for living their lives. If there are no examples from a father there are lots of disadvantages for children because by this they will be force to take decision and select pathways according to their wisdom and also experience them which they are not prepared for.

Not only is that lacking of father's guidance and example evident in the society today, however it has been observed that it taking a toll at the churches. That was referred by Apostle Paul where he stated: “For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have man fathers.”(1 Cor. 4:15). Within my ministry, I have been capable of writing and preaching about the issue of Christianity without father.

In this interview Tom Spoden was interviewed on the concern for spiritual mentoring for men. First in order to continue with the interview its necessary to under the spiritual mentoring that is the “Lord Of Life's” one on one ministry of discipleship especially for individuals who have desires to understand the way Bible is capable of relating to their lives, where they want a meaningful and deeper relationship with the Jesus, that will result in confidence and joyful prayer and also sharing their faith.

He was asked about the main concerns on getting involved with the spiritual mentoring and the answers he get are that they don't have time or hate those feelings that arrives after attending the spiritual mentoring and the fear of sharing it with other people even though if they have joined certain kind of Bible studies or they just get away with the fact that the fear in them is arises because of having less knowledge about the Bible. And when one gets involved in the spiritual mentoring the sharing of beliefs and thoughts is not easy especially when the topic is about faith because the spiritual mentoring has the capability of growing relationship with the Christ.
