Research problem or question

Research question is the questions which you are trying to answer from your research. My research question here is that the whether or not style of management does have an impact on human development or not. Now there are different styles of management ranging from highly autocratic to highly democratic and all the other styles come in between (Saunders, 2003).

Type of research

This is a co-relational research as it attempts to find the relationship between the management style and human development. When we say causal research, it means that finding out cause and effect relationship between two or more variables.

Variables

In this research, there are two variables that are management style and human development. Here in this case human development is a dependent variable while management style is an independent variable. But these two concepts are very abstract in nature. There is not a single good way to measure and estimate these two variables.
