Some Moral Minima

In “some moral minima” the author Goodman seems to be correct within his arguments when he says that certain things are simply wrong. I agree with the argument present by the author and when he discussed some issues such as terrorism, genocide, slavery, rape, murder, incest and polygamy. The social issue that is being highlighted in the article is the issue of morality that is prevalent among many of the societies globally and it has affected the social values and raised the social concerns among the people of the society. The morality describes the acceptable behaviors in a society and the codes that need to be followed in order to get ahead of the moral issues in a society. The moral minima are a concept that is parallel to the morality. These concepts are interpreted in different meanings and ways depending upon the opinion and angel of the thinking of different propel. (Goodman, 2010, pp. 87)

According to the arguments presented by the author, there are three areas that are being identified where the morality is intends to be achieved or received. The first is that the morality is considered to be having a relation with the laws of nation that leads to the formulation of the laws that determine what moral right is and what is wrong. The second area identified is that the morality is derived from religion as well where the moral values ate relative to the religious perspectives because the religion determines the nature of the deeds and provides an illustration of what is right and what is wrong.
