Introduction

Nichols (2010) has introduced several kinds of therapies under two distinctive sections; the classic schools of family therapy and recent development in family therapy in the book 'Family Therapy Concepts and Methods'. The therapies covered under the classic schools of family therapy were Strategic Family Therapy, Bowen Family Systems Therapy, Psychoanalytic Family Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Family Therapy and Experimental Family Therapy.
