Modern technology is moving fast and furious, especially when it comes to the possibility of a Smartphone (Pont 2010 ). What is a "Smartphone"? In fact there is no agreed or precise definition of the term. Most would agree, however, that smart phones do more - much more - than what Alexander Graham Bell first envisaged when he invented the original phone back in 1870.
Smartphone differs from conventional mobile phones that they are capable enhanced functionality, as they contain software applications that can run directly from the phone itself(Harte Lawrence Levine 1999). This software is usually with open source advantage, which makes adding applications as easy as downloading them to your phone via wireless downloads. Today, these devices are not considered very "smart" if they cannot sleep diary / calendar, Advanced Internet connection, photos, music and even video capabilities.

IBM was the first company in the business of offering consumers a highly mobile. In 1993 the company introduced what could be considered a Smartphone in the world - just the name of Simon(Wright 2010 ). Considered low-end standard today is the first Smartphone features an amazing set of features - email, address book, clock, calendar, notepad, and even the ability to send and receive faxes.
In the mid-90, Nokia began heating things by introducing the first-line smart phone - Nokia 9000(Khosrow 2006 ). This phone was not only the first in a series of popular Smartphone production Nokia, they were the most expensive, coming in at 20-40% more expensive than its competitors. 21-th century gave rise to Smartphone, which are incredibly powerful and easy to use (Vasilakos Athanasios 2009). Touch screen functionality has become the norm, and manufacturers such as Apple, Nokia and Research in motion fiercely fighting for the consumer and business Smartphone buck.
Apple changed the Smartphone industry with its introduction of the phone Apple in 2007. Nokia has since opposed the release of its Nokia Xpress Music phone in 2008(Lenihan 2006). Nokia 5800 is a dream for touch-screen lovers, which includes almost all the functions the user wants. Phone even comes with a million downloadable songs for free. Google has recently joined the fray, introducing its Android phone during the same period of time.
Evolution
But to really understand what a Smartphone (and it is not), we must begin with a history lesson (Conrad Schober 2008). In the beginning were the cell phones and personal digital assistants (or PDAs). Cell phones were used to make calls - and no more - while the CCP, as the Palm Pilot, have been used as personal, hand-held organizers. PDAs can store contacts and to-do list, and can synchronize with your computer.
In the end, the CCP has wireless connectivity and were able to send and receive e-mails (Hansell 2009). Cell phones, meanwhile, were able to exchange messages, ...
