In terms of the revenues for the 2011, followed by Nestlé and Procter & Gamble, Unilever is the third-largest consumer goods company globally and the largest ice cream maker across the world. The company is one of the major fast moving consumer goods suppliers and has strong local roots in over 100 countries all over the world (Unilever, 2012). The company's portfolio comprises of some of the most loved and best known brands in the world, which include global leadership and thirteen €1 billion brands in various categories in which the company performs its operations.
