Introduction

The main purpose of this paper is to make an analysis on the “Selection of Greek Philosophy”. This paper makes discussion on the major Greek philosophers and different concepts of Plato's writing. This paper also makes an emphasis on the issue that what is the view of Athenians about Socrates. It also has discussion on Aristotle's writings.

Who were the major Greek philosophers?

There are many Greek philosophers who have made a contribution in the area of philosophy. The remarkable contributions of these philosophers have made the area of philosophy a very convenient area (Aaboe, 21). The main philosophers of Greek Philosophy are Aristotle, Pythagoras, Thales of Miletus, Plato, Heraclitus, Socrates, Epicurus, Chrysippus and Plutarch of Chaeronea. These philosophers have made remarkable contributions in the field of philosophy, and their contributions are still remembered and followed.

What does the concept "examined life" mean?

The concept of “examined life” has been originated by Socrates, who tried to introduce the concept of emptiness in others. He tried to say in this concept that there are many experiences in the life, and life has got different meanings for everyone. The one, who has experienced all phases of life, has examined his life.
