Lack of security and trust is considered the biggest barrier to the increase of business to consumer e commerce. Several factors contribute to consumers trust in e-commerce, which can be defined as user's belief in its competence, dependability and security under conditions of risk or willingness to risk time, money or personal data. Familiarity and trust seem to go hand in hand in e-commerce, as well as in more general concerns of trust. Familiarity has been presented by well known hotels or national hotels, as also in this pilot.
The participants of this pilot study considered as trust worthy online hotels that they were already familiar with from earlier experiences of suburban hotels. Lack of security has been noticed to; strongly provoke mistrust in e-commerce. Credit card payment, security and privacy, have been mentioned earlier studies. The result of indicate that negative perceptions regarding the trust worthiness of online hotels culminated in issue about security with booking on the web. Most of the users would refuse to disclose their credit card number when shopping online. Perhaps in addition the genuine unease with, security issue, the picture given by the mass media about the security of the Internet may evoke such strong attitudes concerning online credit card booking (France, 2002, 245).
E-commerce
Lot of challenges is faced by the business due to globalization. Globalization, the companies must adopt the latest technology. E-commerce is the need of the modern day business and thus e-commerce must be adopted by the business, to compete in the market. Although, diverse business model is, exist which show different combinations of technology, human resource and other to boost profit. With time, it proved that companies can only sustain in the market only if they implement e-commerce in the business. It is because e-commerce is cost effective and efficient. In general the term "e-commerce" or "electronic commerce" any form of commercial transaction in which the parties interact using the network instead of the exchange or direct physical contact (Chang, 2005, 289).
The "e-commerce" integrates the entire trading process: consultation, quote, demonstration, proposals, sales, Serbs (in which includes academics) and a number of operations that performed in real time. Transparency, speed, reduced costs of transactions and communication "online" with participants in the commercial circuit of the company is some of the benefits that companies can be found in electronic commerce.

Trust is a positive belief or expectation about the perceived reliability of dependability of and confidence in a person, an intelligent agent, organization, company, object, process, or system.
