Introduction
The purpose of this study is to expand the boundaries of our knowledge by explaining some relevant facts related to the family nurse practitioner and how it gets certified. The paper provides significant findings of strength and weakness related to the nursing core competency. The paper has elaborated the findings of Nursing Practice and Act related to it. The paper will ensure the understanding and role of family nurse practitioner. Furthermore the paper will provide requirements for the licensure.

Role of the Family Nurse Practitioner
The family nurse practitioner is awarded with the high level of degree in advance nursing practice. The role of family nurse practitioner is to identify and contribute to improve physical, mental and social condition of the patient as individual, family or community. In this work family nurse does not differentiate between people based on race, gender, age, or religion and social status. She is a consultant to the primary level, regardless of the patient's health. Thus, the role of family nurse in the successful functioning of the health system is very important. According to Family nurse practitioner (1995) in the family primarily patient encounters nurse, she advises against the primary treatment at home. Family Nurse Practitioner provides advice and tries to find a solution in situations that require an immediate response, whether acute illness, or any other health problem. The role of the nurse also includes listening and understanding the patient, for his health and well-being. In nursing there are also situations where it is impossible to prevent the disease and is fighting just to complications. Such patients waiting for an appointment with the nurse to discuss together the indicators of health blood pressure, weight, waist circumference, cholesterol and sugar in the blood, etc. Nurse Family planning and implementing comprehensive nursing care unit is to the extent consistent with its professional level, including health assessment and nursing interventions.
In Accordance with Family nurse practitioner program (1973)The Nurse provides wide range of services that includes:
Maintaining Patient's record, performance of physical examination, and order of laboratory test and procedure
Diagnose, treatment, and management of disease
Provides prescription and coordinating referral
Promotes healthy activity together with patient
