Introduction

This paper intends to analyze the research study which is related to the behavioral and academic risks students tend to face during their early learning. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the research article by describing various important aspects of the article. The purpose of this paper is to identify the research problem and significance of literature review. Moreover, the research design, findings of the research study and underlying limitations of the research study will also be elaborated. The purpose of this paper is to make the reader aware about the various important aspects related to the research study written by Kamps et al.

Discussion

It remains extremely important for teachers to understand the foundation of reading instructions. Teaching learners of any age with learning disabilities, gaps in their learning, or culturally diverse learners whose English is at the emergent reading level requires essential knowledge of how children read.

Research Problem

The following research questions are being tested within the research article;

Describe the significant ratio of students that are exposed to the risk of hindering their learning capabilities with DIBELS and SSBD in early age learning.

What is the strength of DIBELS diseases like Letter Naming and others being measures at same times?

Describe the growth pattern in the skills of students? How were the skills differently affected by various reading curricula?

What is the relationship between the growth pattern of students learning and academic and behavioral risks?

How does the growth pattern is affected by risks and differences in curriculum?

Literature Review

The characterization of the general field of knowledge studies within the research is situated around the research on self reflective learning. Most of the literature review provided within the article is related to the exploration of causes of behavioral problems and related issues. Moreover, the literature review also focuses on the prevalence of SSBD and DIBELS within the schools. Literature review has also provides significant information about the measures taken by teachers to deal with the learning problems.

Three Key Points within the Literature Review

Only a small amount of researches have focused on the exploration of relationship between behavioral risks and reading (Glassberg et al., 1989).

Various researches have suggested that children who are exposed to reading and behavioral problems both are a common phenomenon within the society (LD; Glassberg et al., 1989).

Various urban schools are witnessed as high risk areas for the students being extremely vulnerable to meet their educational goals and requirements. Moreover, young children having reading and behavioral disorders are usually unable to achieve the general parameters set by the educationists (Frick et al., 1991).

Research Design

I believe the research design is experimental. The basic purpose identified in the study was to provide early diagnosis in children related to behavior and academic learning problem.
