Remote Access, also known as Remote Desktop or remote network, involving communication and data transmission through a common protocol that allows remote control of another computer, either on a local area network or wide area network wide. The remote computer is known as the server, while the local team is the customer. The protocol is the "language" in which computers communicate and varies depending on the software used to establish a remote access. Some operating systems include the ability to enable remote desktop, but the programs of other manufacturers also offer different features, levels of control and communication protocols. In general, remote access means for employees to access data or resources from a remote location.
