Spiritual gifts are the source of much confusion in Christian believers. These gifts are considered as the graces from God for the Church's support. In Christianity, it can be termed as the property or income bequeathed to someone by the Holy Spirit. They are usually employed for the fulfilment of the mission of the church. These are empowered by the Holy Spirit and has been mentioned in the New Testament (Anonymous, 2011).
The bible narrates in the book of Acts that the baptism of the holy spirit is actually the experience of believers on the Day of Pentecost. The baptism of the holy spirit can be defined as the moment of salvation in which the God places two believers into union with Christ. The bible tells that at the time of salvation with Lord we receive the holy spirit (Charles F, 1995).
Christ is the power of God and can be explained in terms of spiritual power. Many of the Christians strive hard to live in accordance to the wills and standards of God. They consider Christianity as the manner of life that comprises of many rules and regulations. Their consciences are largely involved in attaining the experiences as set forth by their Lord. Thus, Christ and Christ crucified is the power of God in order to bring the deliverance from any kind of sins (Austin T, 2006).
