Introduction

The paper intends to expound the theological view points on some basic beliefs which include who has the authority to distinguish truth from the errors or falsehood and the method which can be used to arrive at the legitimate knowledge. Moreover, the paper will also explain how the Counter Reformation church asserts it authority over distinguishing truth from errors and method to arrive at knowledge. Theology is enriched with the theoretical thoughts to enlighten the visions of the human beings. People contemplate their concepts and considerations in the light of the theology as it contains the philosophy of every field of life. Man can increase his knowledge and mastery of world through the theological concepts and holding the belief on the testaments to get the view of world. The Holy Scriptures and the history of theology provide the instances of the philosophical concepts to modify the life based on the Christian system (Young, 2011).

In short, the theological concepts hold the clear understanding and doctrines for each and every aspect of human life which can teach human beings to live their lives appropriately based on those concepts and beliefs. Hence, the theology has the strong relation with the science and philosophy to understand the word of God and the underlying reasons of the existence of everything. The theologians believe that the Bible and word of God contain each and every meaning of the life but it requires the faith to understand and absorb it. The entire belief system and the theological concepts hold the great significance in bringing the shift in the life of man towards the spirituality and the strong faith.

Discussion

The human beings are themselves responsible for distinguishing truth from the errors. The justice is the prime essence which enables each and every person to reflect in order to bring out the truth as justice permits each and every individual to think with their own minds rather than depending on others to guide. The justice enables the person to use his own knowledge rather than the other person's knowledge in analyzing the truth. Hence, the justice includes the research to independently look out for the truth through the use of two methods which have been innately given to the human beings that include the intellectual abilities and the interior abilities. The intellectual abilities are the intelligence and the knowledge which individual hold while the interior abilities represent the talents and the spiritual qualities of the people.

The faith enables the man to learn and be able to distinguish the true knowledge from the falsehood. This eternal faith facilitates the man to detect the frauds and avoid the snares of errors that are likely rise. This complete belief helps the man in fortifying his own faith through the authority of Divine Law and the Traditions of Church.
