Introduction
The process of prior period experiences, previous though & interest could determine the concept of current area content learning on eth assumptions that the persistence past is the nothing but a present. This session will focus on linkage between the past experiences, student interest & present learning. Furthermore, it will also focus on the brain based research in order to support the discussion.
Discussion
Previous concept that student has in their mind have huge impact on the present learning. Students relating their personal previous experiences to the curriculum on the request of the teachers can really heighten their learning. This results in the liberal educations instead of squaring previous instruction which is often used by many instructors or tutors (Barron B., Hammond L., 1991).
Through direct application, liberal education determines less behavior than through teaching or impressing upon the mind by frequent instruction or repetition which becomes a routine habit for teachers reflecting their own experiences which is not so broad reference to the mental level of the students. For this case it is very beneficial and easy for tutors to make things easy for themselves as well as for students. This type of learning concept has been widely stated in Schema Theory. This theory of learning organized knowledge as an elaborate network of mental structures that represents individuals understanding in the world (David E. Sherwood and Timothy D. Lee, 2003).
