Introduction

Starting a business from scratch is not a piece of cake. It requires a high level of managerial skills to make your plan a reality. Sometimes, it is better starting a business as a part time before investing a lot of money. Than, the progress of that part time business can help you to think about making it full time. I have completed this assignment to show my interest towards any business and then put myself in it to analyze the circumstances. The assignment can help me to gain some experience and get familiar to the self employed business world.

Service I would offer through my Business

As a college student, I began tutoring my younger students to make some earning. Now, I have experience of tutoring students, so I have decided to start an institute which can provide training to amateur tutors and then refer them to parents. This will make the job easier for parents to get a well trained tutor who has gone through professional training. For this purpose, I contacted my friends in order to make a competent team to start the business. Now, my team has planned to start doing publicity through different ways about our institute in order to get the maximum number of students.

Knowledge required for profitable Business

In order to run a business successfully, it is very important that you have relevant knowledge related to your field (Ward, 2000, p.74-86). Your knowledge should cover all the essential aspects. This includes the knowledge of research and knowledge of hiring an employee who have skills that meet the requirements. The knowledge is essential for business planning, as well.

These skills are significant in order to communicate with your clients and employees. They include skills of writing, social networking, speaking and negotiating. In order to develop effective communication skill among students, I will follow Sussex English language learning system. This English system is one example.

These skills are significant in order to do planning for unusual circumstances, which include skills of strategy making, project management, financial issues and logistic issues (Allen, 2009, p.21).

Productivity Skills

These skills are significant in order to extract maximum out of your skills and efforts. They include skills of time management, meeting management, leadership, and personal productivity.

Creativity Skills

These skills are significant in order to be creative so that your business looks different from the rest. They include the skills of imagination, inventiveness, problem solving, brainstorming and making connections.
