Reflection paper on the existence of God

I feel affectionate, standing in the gloomy moonless night and looking at the sky. If the air is crunchy and I find a good spot, I can praise a stunning sight of the above stardust. Human eyes operate as the facilitator for the human mind. They are more resourceful than our thoughts and imaginations. They can capture the view of the beautiful natural resources without a camera or a telescope. They can also capture the view that extends from the moon, which is around “1.3 light seconds” far from the earth. The moon that I viewed does not, in fact, signify what it look likes now as it was; however as it appeared before 1.3 seconds. When I consider the enormous extent of the world, everything that troubles me in my daily routine life; regardless of its importance and apprehension, the gloomy night changes everything into frivolity.

The argument of the existence of God is very old and most conversed debate in human history. Debate against and for the existence of God have been put forward by theologians, scientists, and philosophers since past centuries. Particularly in philosophy, arguments on the existence of God typically engage the subject of “ontology (study of the nature of being, existence, or reality) and the “theory of value” as notions of perfection are strongly related to beliefs of God.

The belief and concept behind the existence of God can be understood by this case. A man is lying on the hospital bed, and undergoing cancer treatment and surgery. His thoughts are racing from one concern to another. Everything, which was most important to him, is of no importance. He is only thinking about the people he loved and the relationships, he had with them. God has made everyone in this world full of love and affectionate. If love disappears from every living organism, then this world will remain no more. He always asks from his God, “Why me?” However, after a day, he also thought, “Why not me?” This was the time that made very little sense to him. He thought about himself, “He is a good person, a God fearing individual who had lived a righteous life and shared a healthy lifestyle than others who lived alongside him.”Still, He was in the hospital, fighting with a serious disease, which would take him to the door of death. He was full of fear and anxiety, and in the evil hour of 3:00 - 4:00 am he was awakened by nightmares, telling him about the judgment day. His enemy cancer had consumed his flesh and mind, as well. After some time, he started to suffer with depression. Everyone was dealing with his sickness, not him (Matthews, 2008).

During the difficult times, we are either crushed or strengthened. We get angry on things, which try to harm us and clash with each and every crisis. We should try to control and manage our life against inopportune times; ...
