Introduction

In these demanding times, education is the most important tool to develop a better society. There are various means that the individuals use for sake of educating themselves and their dependent. These methods include reading, analysis, brainstorming and qualitative research. This report will focus on “Reading” for the sake of education. It is a fact that reading is a very old and ancient method used for the sake of educating people. The report will focus on the argument that would reading make a person educated. The report will highlight the role and importance of reading in term of education. The report will also provide in-depth analysis and will present other factors which contribute in making a person educated.

Importance of Reading

The reading plays an important role in educating any person because it offers enormous amount of knowledge. The reading is important because it keeps the person engage with books and gaining knowledge. It has been seen that the habitual reader usually displays lot of knowledge because he or she used to read many different books. In order to become educated, it is necessary for a person to have sufficient information about his or her core subject and other fields. It is only possible when the person developed reading habit because books contain enormous amount of information that can only be extracted by reading them. Moreover, there are number of books on different topics and subjects so the reading will enhance the knowledge base of readers (Parera et.al, pp. 81).
