Introduction

There are ethical, moral and social values that represent a developed society and based on these ethical value systems, a society can achieve more even in economic terms. The following study is based on the similar social values and a questionnaire including social developing questions was provided to the respondents. The study was named as “British Social Survey” and it contains the key questions which can certainly represent the perceptions of the British people about their social attitudes. There are few variables which have been taken in the study and the control variable is the British people and in comparison with them are Non - British people. Therefore the study will be delivering the analysis of the social attitudes and value systems in British people in comparison with the Non - British people.

Methodology

For the purpose of keeping the study simple, the method of cross tabulation has been used between the British people and non - British people. The likert scale type questions have been used which asks for the agreeing or disagreeing with the social behavioural questions. There were a lot almost 100 questions in the Survey but only few of them which has significant concern with the study has been taken in the analysis ans a total of 18 questions were found to be significant i.e. purely representing the social attitudes of the British people. A total of 47 respondents were taken in the analysis and none of them skipped the answers and therefore a 100% response was obtained from the survey.

The general idea regarding conversation on hand-held mobile phone is that it should not be practiced. However, British people have a strong concern regarding this as most of the people agree that the practice is unfavourable and should not be continued since driving poses risks for accidents and vigilance should be practiced while driving. On the other hand we have found that non- British people have an indulgent idea and as perceived through results suggest that the risks cannot outweigh the benefits at times.

There is a strong agreement with respect to this query in the British community. It is apparent that the community has a strong sense of rights of people with in a culture and practice human rights. Also, the data indicates that British people have the sense of equality with respect to treating human beings of all ages and for this reason most of the people agree that daily chores should be as efficiently performed by ...
