Project Management

Project management can be defined as a planned effort, to accomplish a certain project. It includes planning, organizing and managing resources which leads to success in achieving the project. Project management includes the planning a project, identifying tasks and goals which are to be achieved. A well executed project leads to the success of the business. Project management is associated with 5 types of processes which include initiation, planning, executing, controlling and closing. A successful project can be evaluated on the basis of these steps. Professionally, project management should be carried on the basis of different projects and the goals which are set up in order to achieve those projects.

Project management plays an important role through life. At some time of life, it is being used by everyone. It is a source of great help to teach lesson for life. In my past profession, I was involved in organizing events for different universities; me along with my fellow colleagues used to visit different universities and organized events for them regarding awareness programs (David, 2006).

Similarly, we had invited renowned speakers who use to give their point of view in that. There were also people invited from other universities so that they can share their knowledge and experience with those who were attending it. It was a huge responsibility for me due to the fact that students were not willing to take part in it, and they should least interest in this regard. I had to motivate them and tell them about the benefits of the workshops as to how it will affect their lives. project management is not an easy task and it requires hard work to get things managed and balanced.
