Introduction

Project

A project is defined as the particular target that has the exact and definite time of beginning and the exact time for the ending of the project and thus the project aims to define the targeted goals and objectives as well as the scopes that are to be achieved in a particular and defined time period within the available sources.

Project has uniqueness

A project is a unique task that is to be accomplished within the defined time period and the project is not a kind of unique operation, however, the project involves the particular set of processes and actions that leads towards the achievement and accomplishment of the specific target and goal (Dr Martin B., 2012).

The people involved in the project for the accomplishment of common goal are assigned different task according to their knowledge and skills in their specific and specialized areas. Sometime the people from multiple geographies and multiple cultures are being hired for the project completion because of the reason that many of the projects are carried out in the regions that are in different locations and areas and sometimes in different countries.

The projects may range with the range of different objectives. The projects may include creating an infrastructure in particular region of the city, constructing a building or the bridge, developing system software for automating the certain management processes, projects for the rehabilitation of the areas that are hit by the natural disasters, expanding of the market etc. These all, and expect these, there are many of the projects that the businesses, governmental organizations, private organizations, welfare organizations undertake. Despite of the kind of the project, the well managed and well defined strategies ensures the completion of the project in the defined and targeted time and within limited budget that is strategically defined.

The project management is the effective and efficient utilization of the skills, techniques, technologies to operate and execute the projects. The project management entails the strategic competency of the organizations in order to enabling the achievements of the business goals. Project management involves the planning, organizations, securing, managing, leading and controlling of the resources that are decides and budgeted for the successful completion of the projects to achieve the required specific goals. The main aim is to create and develop the beneficial change for the organization or for the societies or to create the added values to the organizations.

If we look at the practical implementation of the project management the two most essential systems are required. The first essentials that the management requires are the development of distinct technical skills and management strategies. The main challenges that are confronted by the managers of the project management are the unpredictable constraints and the uncertain probability to achieve all the targeted goals of the projects.
