Background Information

In 1954, a small to medium sized cabinet and furniture manufacturing company was began by the name of “Woody`s.” this furniture manufacturing company was established in an industrial estate in Someplace, BC. Company possesses 850 employees with the revenue of $ 93,250.000 annually. The company spread the scope of their business to cover the pertinent subcontracting. One of the members of the management team conceived the idea of Woody 2000 expansion project with respect to the elevated rate of construction activities. Company is convinced to extend the current services in order to provide accommodation for impending boom in industry.

For this purpose, the proposed project intends to aid Woody Company via Woody 2000 project in attaining the high production rate. This project suggests the installation of new line of production via a dust free paint shop with compressor, air conditioning and expansion works on the current facilities provided by company.

Chosen Methodology

The selected methodology is the implementation of PMLC model in a suitable way. The project manager will be appointed in creating the plan of project via employing MS Project. The appointed manager will be accountable for the execution of the project with respect to the model PMLC. He will work to eliminate the indicated issues of communication and planning. In this regard, he must develop an approach of information processing. Adaptive Project Framework model will be used to rectify the error made by management team. APF model will utilize the high level management for planning (Wysocki, 2012, p.408). This model will divide the project into following five phases:
