Floods in 2010-11 in the Queensland have captured the attention of whole world towards the disaster management. These were the worst conditions and created a problem for the authorities to deal with flood water. This creates the alarming situation to deal with this problem especially problem with the prevention of flood water from entering in the car. These events were probably the most scrutinized natural disaster in Australia's history. The evidence has caused much ongoing thought for the necessary enhancement of the present facilities to handle such natural disasters, as there is no basis to assume that the near state-wide floods will not be repeated.

Identification of Problem
The nature of the local flooding in both Toowoomba and Brisbane caused some specific problems. One of the most significant was the primary loss of capital equipment, high primary dangers, and secondary damage caused by unsecured road vehicles.Due to the water levels, not only vehicles in the street but also those in covered or enclosed parking facilities were swept away. People and structures in the flood's path were then at risk from the flood-borne vehicles; and the vehicles themselves were mostly wrecked. This requires proper management for these issues and to prevent the vehicle related damage in the floods.

Literature/Background Review
Since the time of that flood there are a large number of researches conducted to address the issue regarding the preventive measures for the vehicles to prevent these from flood water. The research conducted by Queensland Floods Commission of Inquiry (2011) provides complete information regarding the management of the issues in the Queensland and to provide the solutions to all the areas that can provide proper measures for it. According to these measures there are a number of possible conditions like improvement in the firefighting system and other rescue systems. According to this report,' during the floods, many vehicles became stranded or were unable to cross floodwaters to reach incidents.'(p.176). Even the evacuation became problem due to the unavailability of private vehicles (p.196). This requires proper arrangement to prevent these vehicles entering the flood water. This includes the restructuring of the building that can provide proper arrangement for the cars in the parking area to prevent from entering the flood water.
