Introduction

This paper intends to discuss the philosophical and educational goals. The purpose of this paper is to provide a statement that possesses the ability to best describe the reasons that why I want to pursue a doctorate degree and the ultimate objective I have after completion of the program. The paper will provide a brief overview of my background and my aspirations related to the doctorate program.

Discussion

Applying for a doctorate program requires a lot of hard work and exceptional educational achievements in the past. The philosophy of my educational goals requires me to acquire continuous knowledge and the maximum amount of education that I potentially can. I am currently a lecturer in special education department. In order to increase my effectiveness as an educationist and the underlying achievement of knowledge have urged me to get enrolled in the doctorate program. I have applied for the doctorate program mainly because I believe that the education services in my country can be better off if I possess the degree of doctorate.

Being a national to Saudi Arabia; I realize the weaknesses within the education system prevailing in Saudi Arabia. I intend to contribute positively to the field of education within Saudi Arabia. For the purpose of maximizing my contributions; I believe there is a need that I continue gaining knowledge. It has always been my ultimate aspiration to gain a doctorate degree. Realizing the weaknesses within the special education services in Saudi Arabia; I intend to cater the domain of inclusive education (Sahu, 2002). The underlying special education services in Saudi Arabia are extremely weak and there is no concept of inclusive education. I intend to bring about a positive change through my extended knowledge after the completion of doctorate program.
