Personnel Challenge Faced in Teaching and Learning

Introduction

Teaching has been one of the most challenging and nobles professions throughout the world. The teachers in UK face similar problems at different phases of their careers as teachers. When a teacher shares her experience and the difficulties they encounter while teaching the list is diversified and every teacher has their own unique problems depending upon their level of teaching, their psychological state, their age and mental strength.

The teachers at higher education level are not prone to the problems catered by teachers of lower grades as they usually don't encounter the problem of class control and they don't repeat their discussed points several times to ensure that every kid has understood the problem.

I am currently teaching at higher education level in the country of UK. The course which I am teaching is managing in a Global Environment. I enjoy the subject while discussing it with my students, the knowledge share of this subject is immense for the students but I face immense challenges when I teach this subject. The major challenges faced by me while teaching is to set a totally new course module, secondly the course is diversified and I have to keep myself continuously updated and thirdly a large number of students are present to attend the lecture. Apart from me encountering problems while discussing the course the students also face a significant amount of challenges while appearing for this course. The details of the problems and course are defined as the essay proceeds (Ramsden, 2012).

Discussion

As a teacher for the subject of Managing in a Global Environment I have made an entirely new course module. The problems and obstacles in the creation of the module were immense as the module had to be according to the universities policy; secondly it had to be concise yet diversified. It required latest global trends, the module was to be made in a fashion which fulfilled the educational demands of the university students, and it had to be something interesting and required different teaching styles to cater a significant amount of students (West, 2005).

Module Aims

The module has been made to develop an understanding between the students about the nature of the global environment within which organisations operate. It provides students with the opportunity to develop ability to critically examine and understand the empirical research and current approaches being followed in the field if international business and management. It provides students with the opportunity to develop their personnel sensitivity and understanding towards cultures and how they are managed. It provides students with a great opportunity to improve and enhance their analytical, problem solving, organisational and communication skills. It presents a reflection of the mindsets upon how to focus analytical, collaborative and worldly benefits.
