Introduction

Personal and professional development is a process to setup the aim or objective of life. For the long term career growth, personal and professional development is very important. Everyone is ought to develop personal and professional development plan in order to find out required skills necessary for long term growth in life. Our education is the initial phase where one acquires skills and knowledge. Whereas, professional life is that phase of life where one implements the acquired knowledge in real and practical world. No doubt professional life is also like acquiring and enhancing the existing knowledge. So, one should establish the personal and professional plant at the premature or early stage of life before leaving the academics.

This personal and professional development plan provides a structure detailing my career and my life decisions. In this report, I will elaborate various aspects of my personal and professional goals and objectives at least for five years. This report will elaborate the aspects like my small goals and then medium goal and then long term goals and my personal SWOT analysis (Strengths and weakness, Opportunities and threats), life scenarios, career path, personal self assessment and step by step plan. This report will be highlighting influence and big trends, life style, best strategies for my career.

Every, successful person professional or an organization need to plan and make strategies. First one should analyze his or her existing position, competencies and capabilities. Knowing is half done. Balance is necessary for a successful life which can be achieved by developing action steps and specific plans.

Goal setting whether that is personal or professional would facilitate me to identify and prioritize my activities. Personal and professional development is a dynamic approach towards success. For this first thing should be like my values and vision should be clear to me, my organizational and business goal do they comply with my skills or not.

Self Managed Learning

Self-managed learning is defined as the ways individuals find to learn new things for themselves on their own in the diversified environment. Self learning involves setting up the goals and objectives for learning and find out ways to achieve those goals. An individual should know the purpose of learning. This involves questions like why you need to learn, how will you learn, what you want to learn, where you will learn, and when learning is needed. Individuals are required to learn the new things related to the culture, behavior, personality and perceptions of different people that come across in their lives.

There are several approaches of self managed learning. Learning is an ongoing process, and it does not require any age. Different people can teach you different things that might help you to learn about your own personal behavior and attitude.
