On August 20, 2012, my colleagues and I went to Glasgow for the sake of doing a personal study. This study trip of ours to Glasgow lasted for five days and was one of the most informative experienced we ever had. This personal study is actually a part of our master degree of organisation leadership, and it certainly managed to provide us a great opportunity to experience real and successful leaderships in practice. With this personal study we were able to explore and understand diverse patterns of leadership which at present are being operated in different organisations of Glasgow.
This personal study also gave us a number of innovative kind of ideas that how varying leaders are busy in running a number of dissimilar organisations and also that how they deal with all those obstacles and hurdles that come across in their way almost every day as part of their work and which requires a great deal of responsibility and commitment. The trip to Glasgow also helped us to learn new concepts and ideas which can also help us in improving our services that we provide to our customers in our organisation. This is one of the reasons that this report, which is based on the findings of my personal study, has been formulated so that a number of other people as well can get benefits from its findings. In this report the main focus of the study will remain the same that is to educate and spread key findings of varying leadership practices that are successfully being implemented and are producing required and fruitful results for different organisations in Glasgow. During the course of this report we will be discussing the approaches of leaderships that we learnt and the benefits of the ideas that we have experienced ourselves. Special attention will be given to all those areas that have shown most remarkable results as far as better planning and management skills are concerned. Keeping that view in mind, we will be paying more attention to the overall achievements of almost every organization that we witnessed during the course of our personal study in Glasgow.
