Introduction

In life everyone has goals, aims and objectives, and to achieve this one must find the means to achieve them. However, to achieve anything there are many roads, different paths that can reach the same goal, that is where there are differences between people, the means to an end. The values are fundamental to the development of a society. Below is a personal code of ethics that I have set for myself.

Ethical Framework

An ethical framework can be defined as the ethical guidelines that are required to make decisions which are ethically correct. The guidelines can be set by the individual himself or the organization that he is working in. an ethical framework defines the limits and boundaries that bound a person to make ethical decisions. An ethical framework is very important for me as I base my decisions on ethical grounds and make sure that the decisions I take are morally and ethically correct (Boatright, 2012).

My Ethical Framework

The ethical framework that I have developed for myself is given below. I developed the ethical framework using guiding principles of morality from the society, religion and the corporations that I have worked for . Most importantly, the framework is based on the religious principles of morality and ethics.

My Personal Values

Honesty

I will speak the truth.

I will not take advantage of others, and property or borrowings.

I will treat everyone with justice, equity and respect for the law.

I will remain real; I will present myself as I am, without infringing the rights of others.

I will be consistent between what I say and what I do.

Goodness

I will establish and maintain harmonious relationships with others.

I will be a conciliator and mediator in difficult or conflicting situations.

I will serve and collaborate with everyone at any time and place.

My Relationship with My Colleagues

Respect

I will appreciate the feelings, ideas, attitudes and contributions of others.

I will listen, respect and welcome, if possible, ideas, opinions and suggestions of others.

I will comply with the rules, commitments and agreements acquired.

I will set a good example.

I will accept and tolerate diversity.

Loyalty

I will be loyal to the institution, its principles and mine.

I will be purposeful and constructive criticism to develop the institution and others.

I will take my job and I will do it responsibly supporting others.

I will take back my mistakes and positive actions of others.

I will not contribute to the culture of rumor.
