Working in Partnership in Health and Social Care

Philosophy of partnership The people are living in a post modern world. The post modernism is the form of the assessment of the older forms of welfare and social health. There is a policy which is called as the one size fits policy. The policy has the characteristics of the post war creation of health and provision of welfare. It is argued by Lyotard (1992) that the national schemes are unsuccessful to help the people. There are several social problems like poverty and poor hosing which are now increased rather than decreasing (Zalta, 2006, pp.502-504). The author has also seen that several attempts that have been made to help are for the system but not for the people. The evaluation of all the high attempts to resolve the problems of the people are resistant by the assessments which are on the empowering effects of the professional solutions of the social problems. A client which has the health problem requires specific care that was initially provided by the social services and the NHS.

In the new methods of working the social care and health needs to have a one stop shop that is according to the needs of the clients. The needs of the people can change with time and the partnership can be made according to the particular problems of the clients. All of the clients should also participate and get involved in those choices that can ...
