Organizational Systems for Managing Organizations Strategically

Introduction

In any organization, in order to pursuit its goals and objectives it is necessary to carry out its mission statement successfully within its functioning internal structure, and most elementary a system, that allows it to carry out its procedures of works efficiently and effectively. There are several programs that describe the relationship between management and governance of the organization. An efficient and effective organization thinks strategically regarding the relations among its all members, it staff, it volunteers, its Board, and its other constituents. An efficient organization also clarifies these associations in writing by a Constitution.

Moving on to the daily procedures of the organization is a work of organizational staff or employees. It is thereby, significant to be methodical and systematic in every function. Methodical and systematic processing of business is necessary because they have a positive impact on the organizational ability or capacity to be efficient and effective, credible and trustworthy as these are the components of effective functioning. An organization is comprised of a large number of functioning components, but there is strong need that all must have to be organized and managed well as a part of a system.

Planning

Strategic Planning

In an organization, the members of the Board and top level employees process strategic planning in order to determine overall purpose i.e. (mission) and (vision and goals) i.e. direction towards future for the organization and the methods for strategies, values, products and services for the organization to approach toward the future direction. This process of strategic planning provides input to functions and procedures in an organization. Therefore, if strategic planning is not effective for achieving organizational goals then it will negatively impact on the whole organization.

Business Planning

During the process of business development and business planning, the marketing research activities are conducted to analyze the specific needs among particular types of customers and what type of products and services are required to fulfil the needs and requirements of all targeted customers of the business market. Business planning gives input to a lot more other functions e.g. resource planning, promotions and advertising campaigns, and financial management. Several problems are raised because of the poor sales and promotions advertisements.

Resource planning

Managers in an organization usually identify that what resources are needed to process and make other business and strategic plans by their ability of effective decision making. Mostly, resources which are available to an organization are in means of people (human resource), equipments, facilities, funding, supplies, and certain procedures and policies. The plans for budgeting are developed by managers that include the needed resources along with the calculated and estimated cost for supporting the utilization of those resources.
