Root causes of organizational behavior

The organizational behavior involves the aspects of sociology, psychology, communication and management within the perspective of organization (Fred, L., 2006). It assists the higher level authorities as well as the managers to examine and to analyze as well as to find out concerning the factors that have impact upon the individual employees, the groups of employees, the organizational cultures as well as upon the structures of the organization. There are a variety of behavioral components within an organization that can influence the organizational behavior and can eventually affect the organizational performance and the organizational profitability. The understanding of the organizational behavior assists the managers and the organizational authorities to administer the workforce effectively and efficiently. The organizational behavior is also negatively affected if the managers of the organization do not implement adequate strategies and approaches. The following are the root causes that develop the effective or poor organizational behavior (Jean, M. P., Stanley, M. G., 2005).

The hierarchical levels and the authorities in the organization have direct impact upon the organizational behavior. The studies have found that the complex organizational structure and hierarchies negatively affects the organizational behaviors. However, the efficient and flexible organizational structures and hierarchies create positive impact upon the organizational behavior. Therefore, the modern organizations are focusing upon the flexible organizational structures and hierarchies so as to establish better organizational behaviors as it has direct and significant impact upon the performances of the employees and upon the overall performance of the organization.
