Continuous improvement and learning is important in any lifelong learning sectors especially in case of education institutions and colleges as the future of any nation is dependent upon its youth and students as to how well educated and learned they are so that they can contribute towards the growth and development of nation's economy. The changing external environment and globalization has presented countries with a challenging situation to respond to the environmental changes in an effective and timely manner in order to remain competitive and provide quality service to its clients. Therefore, successful change management process is extremely important for every organization especially educational institutes in order to compete in continuously evolving external environment. Bridgend College in one such education institution operating in the lifelong learning sectors and provide training and education to the teenagers, businessmen and other individuals who want to grow and develop their skills and qualification in order to survive in this competitive environment. The aim of this report is to critically analyze and review some of the theories and recommend appropriate change management techniques for improvement which is an important step towards effective and successful change management framework (Todnem, 2005, pp. 369).

Bridgend college is known for offering up to the mark and high quality curriculum, training and educational programs to its clients and students and is one of the dynamic Further Education College with a value and mission of providing outstanding education to more than 12000 students a year. The educational and training programs of college constitutes both full time and part time offerings and courses with a wide variety and range of vocation training programs throughout its 4 campuses and also provide with a facility of work based training programs. It is also involved in providing course related to Higher Education programs for FE Colleges in Wales.
Advancement in technology, increased globalization, mergers, shifts in market and demands of the customers requires the organization to changes and respond to these changes in at timely manner in order to remain competitive and successful (Bridgend College).
