Introduction

I have selected “Teaching Copyright” from the projects. Copyright is the intellectual property's ownership in the limits laid down by a specific international or nation's law. The law of copyright provides the permission of the exclusive right to the property owner for printing, distributing and copying the material and the permission should be gained any other person in order to use the work again. Copyright provides the reward for investment and making of creative and innovative work while identifying the necessity or requirement for reusing the work. In most of the countries, copyright covers the work of dramatic work (for example: mime and dance), literary work (for example: computer programs and song lyrics), artistic work (for example: sculpture and painting) and musical work (for example: music composition). Copyright protection is also granted to sound recordings (for example: recording on MP3 or CD), broadcasts, typographical and films arrangements of available publications (for example: book's layout). The issue of internet copying is violating the copyright protection and is seriously threatening the record sales. Thus, the concept of alternative methods for compensation has achieved growing fame and popularity. Copyright and copyright are two conceptions of property literary and artistic. The first comes from the family of civil law , particularly French law , while the second comes from the common law (or common law ).

Copyright is based on the idea of a personal right of the author , based on a form of identity between the author and his creation. The moral law is constituted as an emanation of the individual author: recognizes that the work is an expression of the author's person and so it is protected. Copyright protection is strictly limited to the work, regardless of moral attributes of the author in relation to his work, except paternity, not considered as such an author, but has rights to determine the conditions of use of a work.

Intellectual property (IP) is related to the creations of the mind: inventions, literary and artistic works, and symbols, names and images used in commerce. The legislation protects IP, for example, by the patent, the copyright and trademarks , which allow to recognize gains or inventions or creations. By balancing the interests of innovators and the public interest, the IP system seeks to foster an enabling environment for creativity to flourish and innovation.

Important advantage includes the artificial shortage on the works that are copyrighted. Instead of the barriers in the adoption of levies, the model of alternative compensation has been popular in the United States since the advent on internet.
