Introduction

There are so many business organizations in the world. Different organizations have different rules and regulation for their employees. There are many individuals who work under one company's name and they all share different perks, benefits and financial status. It is mostly seen that in organizations people face accidents. These accidents are of different types. The kinds of accidents which take place in industries are different to the kinds of accidents which take place in mills. Similarly, the kind of accidents which take place in a multinational organization is different to the accidents which take place in a bar or club. In either of the cases of those employees who are affected by the accidents are taken care by the company. The company provides the complete medical treatment and also provides salary to the injured or affected individual. On the basis of different accidents different laws are also introduced over the passage of time. It is not easy to provide the medical aid to any employee without properly going through the details required by legislation, patient and the policies. All these things play a considerate role in the carrying out of the processes. There are many plans which can be executed in order to provide best of services to the individuals who are injured at the workplace. For women it's not easier to work either and they have to be taken care off as well (Working Mother Media, 2001).

Scenario at Work Place

There are different scenarios which can be set up when it comes to work place injury. The most common ones include slipping from the staircase, falling from the stair because of no railings, falling from a ladder and catching up of fire etc. all these scenarios can come under the workplace injury. Different people suffer from different injuries in different work place setups. Similarly, Richard was an employee of hotel and suffered from an injury for over four straight months. He was carrying a 22 pound of cylinder which was filled with gas. As he was carrying it and walking fast towards his destination by through stair case to reach at the required time, he fell from the stair case and injured his back. He slipped because of the reason that the stair case was slippery and there were not railings or staircase grips. Moreover the floor was slippery and there was no sign either to make him cautious in his moves. This made Richard absent from work for about four months. Spinal cord injuries are very painful (Somers, 2009). His tissues were damaged and vertebra was also greatly affected due to the accident. He needed much care and support in order to regain his health and start work again. Meanwhile all the necessary steps were taken to compensate his accident which he met in the work premises. Spinal injuries cause strains (Quitter D., 1998)
