The bachelor of Nursing is a three to four year program depending on the type of degree and the territorial university in which the person is enroll. The program is designed specifically to create and improve the student's skills and help them to develop nursing capabilities which will make them capable to direct their self learning and perform clinical reasoning strategies and skills in their practices of treatment and nursing. The program also tends to generate working abilities in teams effectively and promote quality health results for patients and clients that are under their care. Furthermore, the nursing students will also be taught to carryout effective and safe nursing practices according to the ANMC and the standards of National Competency, to become registered nurses.

The quality of education varies within different universities; however, the outcomes are beneficial for all of their students. Best practices are utilized based on the standards in the field of nursing and mostly supported by tricky problem solving based scenarios and the curriculum model, the innovation and advanced infrastructure which has been introduced by the experts and their practices from international industry and their learning`s from working under international health issues and challenges. Learning the nursing and related practices will be helpful in future career and the bachelors program will develop a student's clinical skills and promote their abilities to work with patients of all nature. Universities offer different rotations between clinics to develop nursing practice and basic science skills in courses such as humanities, psychology, leadership and nutrition. Learning the nursing practices through physical activities develops interests and creates a positive perception prior from getting in the field.

Benefits from Prior Studies

As a student of Pathology, an interest developed, and I was more attracted towards studying nursing. Pathology itself is a heart of all the health care services that are offered to the patients of all communities. Pathology, like nursing is underpinned on cost-effectiveness and the quality of healthcare provided. It is the clinical knowledge and services related to modern nursing and medical practices in healthcare. However, after doing my studies in pathology, my ambition changed to nursing and chooses a field that is more practical. However, pathology is used for treatment, diagnosis and management of an extreme clinical condition, the fact of choosing a subject of nursing is to apply what I have learned previously. Besides consultation, the practical advantage would be offered, and that was the reason I chose to do my diploma in nursing. Pathology is generally limited to the early detection and prevention, and the coming treatments of a disease, however it doesn`t gives opportunities what could be received in nursing practices.
