The image of nursing in US is considered as a very tragic and critical role. These impacts have led the students to get diverted away from the career of nursing and hence the number of nurses has been decreasing. In this study, we will explore the concept of sampling plan in nursing research in a holistic context.

The main focus of the research is on relationships among nursing students' demographic characteristics and their choice for practice field after their graduation. The research also analyzes three basic questions related to this subject or sampling plan and tries to gauge its effect on behavior of students in choosing the field. These questions would include the basics about the student's demographics, psychographics and social graphics characteristics.

Sample Planning Process

The sampling plan means to determine the probe in the human sphere (i.e.| the community to be discussed), and place of research and time it would take to field research. For the mentioned study, we need fresh graduates from schools and colleges who wish to pursue their career in medicine field. Therefore, the details should include,

Demographics

Around 180 students from all over the city should be taken. There should be a distribution of 50% between each gender (that is 90 girls and 90 boys). Out of these 180 each, the socio-economic division should be considered and 30 each from SEC-A / B & C. For detailed study, further division can be considered in terms of age bracket, as the cognitive development of student keep on changing as they learn new things.
