Introduction
the prime quality of the nurses and nursing profession is that they are completely responsible for the work they are doing and they are answerable to their own work, further all the nurse perform their duties in such a manner that it is appropriate for the patients, family members of the families, and the life of the patients and also with the existing laws and professional institute (Elliott, Pennels, C. 1997)
The principles of accountability and rules of responsibility are guided and described in the (Royal Collage of Nursing 2010) as according to them the principles and working boundaries o f the registered nurses are temporary and can be changed according to the need of time.
The nursing profession further divided into independent and supplementary prescribes, which can be defined as an independent prescribes has the authority to prescribe and control drugs to his patient and normally are professional doctors that take up new cases as well as review the case of supplementary subscribers, where as a supplementary subscriber is one that is normally considered as the non medical professional that earned the license of prescribing in the year 2003 and it includes nurses and pharmacist and others (Royal College of Nursing 2011), (Department of Health, 1999)
These supplementary subscribers has the authority to prescribe any control drugs for the treatment and normally conducts cases of the patient that are treated by an independent prescribes and that patient already has clinic management plan (Department of Health, 1999)
Accountability of Independent and Supplementary subscribers
Every prescribe whether independent or supplementary works under the rules and regulation of the Law of the country and is accountable to the people of the country and to the Law for the following action, and its permissible for every health care ...
