Introduction

Nursing is a healthcare profession concentrated on the care of persons, families, and groups so they may attain, sustain, or retrieve optimal health and value of life from conception to death.

History

In fifth century BC, Hippocrates was one of the first people in the world to study healthcare, earning him the name of "the dad of up to date medicine".
