Prenatal Care requires lot of coordination between nursing staff to effectively carry out the sensitive process. It is also important that Nurses are well educated and experienced in this regard to cope up with any complexities that women may have to face. In this paper, I will discuss the various stages in Prenatal Care and will assess how the process could be improved.

Part A

Steps taken to Promote Interdisciplinary Care

My aim would be not only looking after my patients, but would also be to take care of other Nursing staff by training them. One of the working conditions of psychological influences that most workers have in a positive way is one that allows for camaraderie and teamwork in the workplace where they serve, because teamwork can give very good results as normally generates enthusiasm for the result to be satisfactory in the tasks. In teams, rules are made, to be respected by all group members. They are rules of behavior established by members of the team. These rules give each individual a basis for predicting the behavior of others and prepare an appropriate response. It includes the procedures used to interact with others. The role of standards in a regular group is organized as unit status and functions of individual members (Reverby 2008, 57).

It is increasingly common to find multi-disciplinary teams in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, day stay centers, etc. Patients come to therapy to try to improve or maintain their health and for that a team of nurses, doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists are responsible for carrying out a work plan to carry out the recovery of patients by combining each of the disciplines to which each member belongs.
