Introduction

The article that is chosen for the study of “Non-participant/Participant Observation” is “pseudo-deviance and the ''new biker'' subculture: hogs, blogs, leathers, and lattes” by William E. Thompson published by the Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. The article is a qualitative study performed by the writer in order to observe deviant behavior within the new biker subculture. The author conducted interviews and analyzed a comprehensive literature review on people who ride bikes (Thompson, 2009).
