Introduction

London Borough of Newham is the second most deprived and economically challenged borough in England. This paper evaluates the effectiveness of policies through the assessment of social determinants of health in the borough (Marginson & Susie, 2010, pp. 5).

Newham is the tuberculosis capital with epidemic diseases higher than some other impoverished cities in the world. Research and medical examination reports that almost seven people in the London show the symptoms of tuberculosis (TB) with chest pains, sweats and long time cough.
